Above: The complete course, from Highway 60 (Town Line Road) in Vernon Hills to Dam # 1 in Wheeling.

Above: The first-turnaround and finish line area. Spectators can view from the east side in the Cook County Forest Preserve area or from the west side of the river in the parking area by Hintz Rd & Milwaukee Ave (Hwy 45).

Above & Below: The upstream turnaround at the footbridge across the river, south of Lake Cook Road, north of Prairie View Lane. Best access is from Riverside Drive, just east of Lake Cook bridge.
