NEW: 2012 Web Registration Available – You may submit your registration, make payment and verify waiver acceptances until May 13, 2012 via www.SignMeUp.com/canoemarathon. If more than four in a boat, the Mail Registration must be used.
Registration form and Waiver - For registrants lacking email and internet access or for those with more than four occupants per boat, paper applications may be obtained by leaving a message on the Marathon Hotline at (847) 604-2445 or by printing the form here: Registration form and Waiver. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view the waiver. Acrobat is a free download and often comes in useful. Get it by clicking on the graphic below.

No participant's entry will be accepted without a signed waiver form. Please fill out additional registration/waiver forms for passengers and additional paddlers.
Applications for the largest and second oldest canoe race in the country will be mailed in early March and will be available on the web site (www.canoemarathon.com). They may also be obtained by writing to Des Plaines River Association, P. O. Box 61, Lemont, Illinois 60439 or calling the Hot line (847) 604-2445.
Mail in Registration
$22.00 per person
Completely fill out one entry form for each team entered. Mail each entry form, along with your check or money order for the correct amount to:

Race Day Registration
On-site registration will be available at the starting line until 9:30AM, at a cost of $30.00 per person.
However, registration is limited to the first 1000 craft, and you are not guaranteed registration on race-day.
General Information
No participant's entry will be accepted without a signed waiver form. Please fill out additional registration/waiver forms for passengers and additional paddlers.
Each team's boat numbers and starting time will be mailed back to paddler No. 1 approximately two weeks before the start of the race. For entries received after May 13, 2012, race numbers/packets must be picked up at the starting line the morning of the race before 9:30AM.
Group heats will be available, however, teams wishing to race as a group must send their entry forms in the same envelope.
